Dr. Mary-Anne Papalia M.B.B.S (Hons), FRACP (Endocrinologist and Diabetologist)
Dr. Mary-Anne Papalia completed her undergraduate medical course at Monash University in 1993. Specialist training in general Endocrinology and Diabetes was undertaken at The Alfred Hospital and Box Hill Hospital from 2000 to 2002. This was followed by further advanced training and research at the Jean Hailes Foundation in the area of osteoporosis, menopausal management, polycystic ovarian syndrome and general women’s health.
Dr. Papalia has worked in private practice since 2003 in Box Hill and St. Albans and more recently has relocated her St Albans practice to Cairnlea. In addition, she is a Senior Staff Specialist in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Western Health, and Clinical Lead for Obstetric Endocrine Services at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr Papalia has broad clinical experience in all aspects of general endocrinology and diabetes. She welcomes referrals for the management of Type 1 diabetes (including pump therapy), Type 2 diabetes, Thyroid disease, including Thyroid cancer and nodular disease, Osteoporosis, Adrenal disease, Pituitary disease and Parathyroid disease. She has an interest in the management of endocrine diseases in pregnancy as well as Polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopausal health. She is also a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australian Diabetes Society.

Parking
We offer free off-street parking for 10 vehicles at the rear of the building, open 8 am till 6.30 pm.
This includes disabled car parking. There is also plenty of 2hr parking available on Wattletree Road and Irymple Avenue.
